The Girl (A FMA Fanfiction) Part 9

"He who is called a hero and boasts of his title will never be a true hero but he who is a hero and bows his head will always deserve his praise."

After the war was over they called us heroes. I didn't think we deserved that title as much as others did but I took the title anyways. It didn't take long, two years, when I was promoted to Colonel and moved out to Eastern Command.  

Every now and then my mind would wander to the subject of the young mysterious girl who I had befriended. I never expected to see her again and tried to focus all of my energy to running a tight command.

It seems though, that I get more things wrong when it comes to that girl than I do right. Because no matter how much logic goes into my thought process it seems like she goes against all logic and physics to make me wrong.
